Alstroemeria L.	Peruvian lily	Amaryllidaceae (Liliaceae s.l.)

All cultivars of Alstroemeria are hybrids with parentage not well known, although five or so species have contributed to modern commercial hybrids. Alstroemeria has become a major world cut flower.
